Another summer song. Most of …Is A Real Boy is a summer song, but none more than Belt the opening track. I was always amazed buy how a car full of sweaty dudes driving back from Chain Reaction can have a enough energy left to yell the finishing lines.

I think the only thing driving us on was the thought of In-N-Out at the end of the drive.

I lived under Max Bemis’ room freshman year at Sarah Lawrence, he used to play acoustic guitar all day while I sat in bed trying to learn Japanese. It was comforting that he never seemed to leave his room. But now I feel weirdly voyeuristic listening to Say Anything on my own.
